How to use Musicfiles from Itunes on other devices

with the new 7. Itunes version I am unable to play m4p files on my IAudio X5 nor Samsung e900 mobile. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

If you go back in time and watch how we got here you'll understand digital rights management and how this was to allow digital downloads of music.

to consider iTunes to be the scourge of the music world. It works great if you use an overpriced and underfeatured iPod. Otherwise, you're hosed.

Without such limits the music owners may not have considered digital downloads.

Your response neglects that the restrictions were not entirely Apple's idea.

However, companies like Napster (the legal version, obviously) continue to allow downloads in a format usable on a variety of music players including (with a quick and irreversable format conversion) the mighty iPod.
I understand your reason and am sure it is correct in part. I don't believe for a second there isn't a little marketing at work here too, though. wink
