Computer help forum: (Graphic bug) Laptop screen displays green fuzzy dots...

This laptop is a Dell Inspiron 8500
2.2 ghz Pentium 4, 1gb memory, 32mb ATI graphic card w/Omega Drivers 2.6 driver, 15.4in display

I'm going to call Dell in the morning because I have full coverage on this computer but wanted to get a little input here first.

Anyway, my computer just started doing this. Out of the blue, it flickers the screen green on and off and now it won't go away. It's not a solid green, it's a fuzzy/grainy green, basically just a bunch of dots spaced far enough apart that I can still see my windows and cursor and everything. When I drag windows around, in starts to turn the windows a pinkish purple color. I restarted the computer and the issue is still there. The weird graphic bug starts right from the 'Windows XP' loading screen, all the way to the login screen, and everything after that.
I uninstalled the driver, installed a new one, and it doesn't change anything. I'm not sure what the problem might be here at all. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!
