Everything on screen is TOO SMALL!?! Help!

This will hopefully be an easy question for some nice person to answer. happy Just got a HP Model # A804N, all font and screens, desktop icons, etc. are way too small. The font is about 6, all of the icons are tiny too. I changed the dpi but it only changed the font size. On my other computer this was an easy fix, but on this one I can't figure it out??? I've been messing with it for 2 days and still haven't found the trick. Please help!! My eyes can't take it anymore!! wink

Thanks in advance and let me know if you need anymore info about my PC.

RIGHT click on a blank area of the desktop, choose "Properties", then click on the "Settings" tab. Once that opens, move the "Screen Resolution" slider to the left..maybe 800 X 600 is appropriate for you? Click on "Apply", then Ok. If the machine is set to choose Yes, or No, as to your approval, choose "Yes".

There is a program called "EASY Read" at the following site address: http://www.winsite.com/free/freeutil/

It will place a + sign & a - sign on the top explorer bar that will enable you to enarge what ever is on the screen in explorer. ( I can not remember if two other symbols were placed on my tol bar at the same time, one called power word (looked like a book) & the other looked like a plant.
If they are placed on the bar when you install Easy Read right click on the tool bar beside one of the symbols and click properties and in the box the appears look on the right side for the symbols them click remove, they will then be taken off the tool bar.
