Computer newbies forum: norton or mcafee

Hi! I use AVG, free from ww.grisoft.com for antivirus and Symantec personal firewall, also free from www.symantec.com for personal use. In adition to being free, which is a bonus, AVG updates weekly- which is more than can be said for the very expensive Norton Antivirus! I have not had a virus or hacker successful intrusion in over three years!
Forget both!!
Also download Adaware SE Personal which is also freeware, from www.adaware.com to keep the nasties away!!

My LAST choice should be Norton.

For you others, Trend will let you d/l a free trial version or free scan online.

I am familiar with the other programs u listed, but i also use Spybot search and destroy. But anyways, what is CCleaner?

That I had was in norton antiviurs but it lost and gone I dont know how happen disapper itself and I would need norton antiviurs but it block that how I had stuck and couldnt get download anything I dont know where do fix open download ? if say must had use software and how much price is it ? thanks

If you want to remove Norton go to the Start and then control panel. Go to Add/Remove programs, and select Norton fron the list and Remove.

Also, try to get a Spyware Detector to take care of spywares. You can try Spyware Doctor.com, Spysweeper.com or Spywaredetector.net. They are all good although i use the last one because of best price.

Hope you have success with your Norton uninstall. (actually my suggestion is to get Mccafee out, as i find norton better)
