Not knowing what your primary use of the computer makes a bit challenging to help you out. Do you have a budget in mind? Looking at your last sentence "Any other hardware advice or input is welcomed"...
There are lots of websites you can use to select and price components (for example pcpartpicker.com)
You have a CPU in mind already, and it seems you're on a good track to get a motherboard. If this is your first PC Build, you'll need lots of other parts, here is a list I hope will help you:
Video Card (GPU) - Personally, I'm an AMD fan, so any HD7000 series will do great, especially for gaming.
Memory (RAM) - I suggest going with a min of 4GB, 8GB being ideal, and 16GB for gaming
Case (mini, mid to full side, mid-side towers - ATX are most common)
Power supply (PSU) (Included with some cases) - Look into a 500w PSU. Should support most of today's components
Cooling system - this will help keeping your system safe, and extend its lifespan. Today's hardware (especially video cards and CPUs run pretty hot)
Fans (most of the times these come with the case) - Combined with a cooling system, fans will help keep your system cool
Keyboard and Mouse (I'm stating the obvious, lol, you will need these)
Hope the above helps you! And good luck with your build
