Can I uninstall Roxio Creator without causing problems?

My Vista system has Roxio programs (at least 5) that apparently do nothing. Does Windows use them some hidden way? Would an uninstall be in order? I really want to clear out deadwood.

Roxio may install a feature that allows a drag to CD (disc) feature. That and access to those CDs may vanish on uninstall.
