Should I accept program disk to make changes on my pc

I bought a new HP All in One tonight with Windows 8. While installing "Professor Teaches Windows 8" disk, a prompt asked if Professor Teacher could make changes to my computer.... I wasn't sure if that was ok, so I said no and the program closed.

What changes would it make, and should I have said yes?????

Starting with Vista we have a feature called UAC, User Account Control. This is a security feature so that you know when something is making changes in case you get infected by some form of malware. You can turn the feature off if you don't like it, but if you don't, you'll need to reply YES whenever you install something.

That's good to know. I just graduated from XP to Windows 8, WOW. It's like a new world!

One more question, speaking of malware, I have McAfee now & would like to know....should I still run SuperAntiSpyware & CCleaner? I'd like to start out on the right foot, so to say....
