I HAVE AN ERRIOR CODE BIOHD-7 AND IT SAYS REP;ACE HD BUT DOINT HAVE THE MONEY IS THER A WAY TO FIX IT WITH OUT REPLACEING HD

Sure. Run the machine from a memory stick or CD.

There's also a way to run it from a memory stick so without replacing the HDD you can use the PC.

Test to verify error

If you access to any testing s/w. use it. if it reports again some error for that HD, then you have to replace it. Usually, a HD is h/w based error. If somehow s/w based, then that testing s/w should explain or point in that regard. Basically, if it at fault, replace HD. Sorry, there is no cheap way of this other than to prove it is faulty. If s/w based, maybe corrupted, re-install the OS or recovery s/w and see where that leads as a final resort. Of course, if you have some warranty, use it. For testing s/w, verify who made the HD and visit their support website and get that. If you have a HP PC, maybe the below will help. -OR- you can post at their support website for answers.

Some fixes

The cheap fix is replace the HD cable, then HD is needed. However, if due to heat stress the original cause of problem, then it will come back. replacing the HD is bound to happen again. Also note that is cleaning is needed do so, reduced airflow or removing heat build-up causes all sorts of problems. This in turn should be considered a maint. issue, keep at it. -----Willy happy
