Acer or HP

I am debating between an Acer Aspire AS5750-6414 and a HP Pavilion dv6-6130us from tigerdirect. They both have 4gb ram and about the same hard drive the main difference is that the acer has an i5 and the HP has an i3 processer. I have owned hp and like their products but i dont know anything about acer. any help will be appreciated.

It's my choice when it comes to the CPU. As to HP, they lost me over an in warranty laptop failure. I'm out one laptop and I never heard if they found a cure for the issues.
