I want to consolidate my music/pictures to one folder

I've changed PC 3 times over the years and now I seem to have pictures (some of them duplicates) all over the place. My music seems to be scattered across different folders also.

Is there a quicker way to move them to one folder (1 for music & 1 for pictures) than just cutting and pasting?

While powerful may be unacceptable for newbie use.

Maybe just the old copy and paste in some file explorer (Windows?) is all that is needed here to build up a new consolidated collection.

Folders/changing adding etc.

Create a new folder in my music, my pictures, whichever you are doing, name the folder then drag desired items to that folder. It takes a little time but is easier than copy paste.
