How can I copy my cd to hard drive?

My os is windows vista. I would like to back up some of my cd's to my hd. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

Since you've told us nothing about any specifics, you just drag and drop.

Try this. Right click the CD drive in My Computer and hit Copy. Then just paste onto your desktop - a folder should appear with the CDs name on it. Beware though, some discs (like the Vista OS disc) are copy protected and can't be copied this way.

OP- if it is a music CD try this method: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Rip-music-from-a-CD
