HD quality after graphic upgrade diminished. Help please.

I've upgraded to a sapphire hd 4650 video card. it's done wonders for the aero and game graphics rating on windows 7, but now when I run HD movies it doesn't look as good as when I ran them on the integrated graphics card. I've done driver update after driver update, again and again, and I've seen no difference. This is a pain because I bought the card particularly for it's HD capabilities. Could someone help me with this?

Go to your card settings and find some settings who is for tv or hd quality, change settings and try each time what is hapening with hd movie. Please start each time movie (player) again. Do not use play pause. Every time close and start player again.
There must be settings issue in your graphic card

kind of been doing that..

I've been doing that for a while, and it's helped very little. This is what happens; when I open a movie file it plays fine when it's half the size of the screen, it does look high def, but when I maximize the movie window it's suddnely not, and I can see it's way more pixelated then before, just from changing the screen size. It's infuriating.

what settings should I be messing with for my problem?

A long time ago I had that issue.

The fix was not intuitive. I had to uninstall then reinstall the DVD player software.

In parting, try that title called VLC PLAYER. Not blu ray capable yet but a fine player with many options.

I remembered how the DVD player "optimized" itself the first time it ran. This nugget made me try the old uninstall and reinstall in hopes it would detect the video changes and optimize again.
