Unneccessary Start Up Prgms
by eelnavi - 1/26/06 9:51 AM
I read the suggestions in "How to Shut Down Unnecessary Start Up Prgms" and only checked prgms that had a Y (need), U (user's choice) or ? (unknown).
However, when i click on "system startup" in Spybot, it says some are viruses.
-LoadPowerProfile [Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, LoadCurrentPwrScheme] (appears twice)
-ScanRegistry [C:\WINDOWS\scanregw.exe /autorun]
Sounds silly but i should trust Spybot then? I thought i read that you should not uncheck Scan Registry.
Thanks for clearing this up.
