White screen when I select Mail App on Windows 8

I am sure it is something I have done but now when I select the Mail app in the Start page it loads to a white screen. Sometimes I think Windows 8 is too intuitive. Any ideas on a solution.

Download Windows Live Mail from MS

I downloaded Windows Live Essentials from the MS web site and set up Windows Live Mail for mine. Works just fine.

I researched it a little and found something I had forgot that each Application has its own settings when you go to the Charms. I had set up a POP type email address the first time through and because Mail couldn't find it it left it as a white screen. I went to settings again through Charms and added a gmail account (heaven forbid) and it brought it online immediately. I just need to remember the hidden settings found on each Application through the Charms. But thanks again, I may try using Windows Live Essentials in the future.
