Weird fonts issue in Win8 Pro

Lately, I was having issues with installing the Catalyst Control Centre v12.10 on my Win8 PC(It kept saying " Catalyst Control Center cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using Catalyst Control Center.") I searched several forums and figured out that there might be leftover drivers which might be causing troubles. So I ran "Driver Sweeper" and reinstalled the v12.8 of CCC and the AMD drivers (Driver Sweeper tried to mess with the registry). CCC was up and working until recently I noticed a glitch in the fonts of the windows 8 apps. They went really weird. I've attached a pic for you to consider. Anyway, now I can restore my PC to an earlier time and see if it clears the issue. But I'm afraid the CCC issue would come up again. Please help me. That issues on your new PC are under warranty. If folk don't flood the makers with their issues (there are a few too many) then the message is that 8 was great. Sorry, but it feels like Vista all over again.

I haven't seen the wierd fonts problem on my Windows 8 system, but I just really don't understand what MS was thinking when they came out with Windows 8 for the desktops and laptops. Thank goodness for Start8 and Classic Start which make it almost usable. But then they had to go and take the games AND XP Mode away. True the app store has some free ones, but they run full screen single thread, and who wants that on anything other than a tablet? The idea of a common interface across the whole product line might sound nice to someone who knows nothing about computers, but it simply makes no sense on the traditional Windows computers. It sure will be interesting to see what they put in Windows 9! plain

That folk rarely would see.
A printer must be installed.
Or whacked out fonts there would be.
