Upgrade to Pro from Release Preview

I am using Bootcamp on my mid 2012 MacBook Air (OS X 10.8.2 - Mountain Lion) to run Windows. I am currently running the Release Preview of Windows 8, but I am looking to upgrade to a full version. Is it possible to upgrade from Release Preview given that I did not have a previous version of Windows installed before the preview (clean install via USB)? I've had some mixed answers from googling. Can someone say if they have upgraded to W8 Pro from Release/Consumer Preview without a previous version of Windows?

I don't see any Microsoft Retail version out yet and the OEM Builders version mandates you don't buy it for yourself.

Something odd is going on with the new Microsoft licensing so I've subscribed to hear how you dealt with this.

simply run an upgrade process from pre-release to an RTM version but you can erase the pre-release and then install the W8 Pro. Yes, MS changed license terms for W8 to allow end users to install OEM versions - that's why there is no retail version. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/en/us/intellectualproperty/useterms/default.aspx and find the EULA pdf for W8 Pro - sorry I can't link PDFs here.

Lower price vs W7 Retail reflects it. Could add up to another reason to stick with Macs?

How would I go about installing W8 pro?

By W8 pro are you referring to an OEM version? So, no luck using an upgrade and some sort of Loophole? I'm not used to paying $100+ for an OS, especially for a secondary OS.
