User accounts in Windows 8

I've just installed a new HP laptop for my sister, who's upgraded from an old XP desktop. In doing the install, I have inadvertently created two user accounts (I'm new to Win 8), both with passwords. She doesn't want this, as it's a computer for all the family to use. How do I remove the accounts, or, at least remove the need to enter a password every time she boots up?

If you have one lone account and something happens you can't get in and fix it.

-> This is worse in Windows 8 given NTPASSWD may not work. PLEASE go set the password to blank if need be or go ahead and remove the user and accept you are willing to lose it all.

In Control Panel (from the desktop) go to User Accounts and change the password. Leave the new password empty and it's gone.

consider is theat Windows 8 can link to you windows account and can sync to facebook, twitter, Linkedin if you want. Also it links to the Windows store to download applications. So you may want to create one account with no password and one with your windows account and your private password.
