HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 8 FROM DISK?

I just got my Windows 8 disk. Installed is as directed and when it finished it said it didn't install due to lake of a driver. Period and offered a restore. I had no choice but to do the restore. Not happy. Have a one year old Sony Viao Touch Screen desktop with Windows 7.
Is there a simple download for A driver?

The PC's maker has to provide drivers and updates to run 8 and in some cases they don't so you know to leave them with the issued OS.

There are no less than 10 drivers and apps for most laptops, I can't guess if this unnamed model has Windows 8 support yet.

I downloaded the oem version from MS and there was a upgrade advisor that ran first. It lists all the incompatibilities first. I suggest folk try this first before making the leap...

When you click the buy button it will download the advisor first before you actually buy it. If there are any problems you have to remove the problem software before you can complete the purchase. On one of my computers I had to remove Microsoft Security Essentials Antivirus first before it would complete the download.
