I have been running Win 8 Cons prev for about 2 mos now. I am having a problem with waking up the computer, or at least the sound part. Things will be working fine, then I go away for a while, 1/2 hour or more and I come back, sign in again, ( a pain) and there is no sound. Everything else works fine but no sound, I did check for an updated Catalyst driver but none available. I use an HDMI connection from my 5770 card to screen with built in speakers, MT276HE, I think it is not the physical setup but something in the Windows wakeup program that is keeping this from resuming. I don't think my i5 750, or OCZ SSD is relevant here. As it is now there is no point to leaving the computer on if I leave it for more than a few minutes. So, I take shorter naps or just turn it off. Any hints in how to fix this? I know next week will be another version of Win 8 and I will likely try that one too. So, this may be moot by then.
