Windows 8 is now MS Bob 2.0

Windows 8 is the next MS Bob. It is horrible for corporate use. Really this is trying to make Windows into a Playskool computer and make it all touchy-feely. The entitled, spoiled brat, hipsters on the committee that came up with this worthless sack of BS need to know that we don't want this. I move that we don't call it Windows 8 or Metro but MS Bob 2.0 or Bob 2 for short. I was thinking about Revenge of Bob but that would make it cooler than what it is.

I think that this may rival MS Bob as the worst OS enhancement of all time.

I don't use tablets. Maybe a laptop/tablet but then it is just going to be a Windows 7 system.

OK, how an you say that Win8 is MS BOB 2.0 when Microsoft abandoned it entirely (don't know when)? I mean, do you see a doggy named Rover in the bottom right of the screen? Bob had furniture, rooms, safes, and a guide. Does Bob have any of these? No. So whats the fuss about? Bob is dead. They don't make programs for it anymore, they don't support it anymore, and it's just plain abandoned. Gone, never to be seen on Microsofts new OS's (unless you've installed it). And for rivalry, what rivalry? Bob and Win8 are to different things. Ones a program, and ones an OS. Bob is OSy but that doesn't make it an OS. Lets leave it at that.

MS's purpose

This is not surprising. It is in keeping with Microsoft's purpose. Their purpose has always been clear if you look at the progression of their OS's. And that is: to keep track of what you are doing for themselves and keep you from using the programs you actually like. And to provide a platform that enhances incompatibility so you have to buy new versions of MS software all the time, even tho you found the old version easier to use.
This leads them to Bloat Up their OS with as much Bloatware as they can - all with the purpose of making is seem like their OS has tons of features, But hidden underneath that is a patchwork of endless patches in which running the software you actually want to run is a low priority.
And if you apply that thinking - then their OS's make perfect sense.

What programs you actually like don't run on Windows 8 (you state that's a purpose of Windows 8: to keep you from using such programs)?
Why (and how) is Microsoft forcing you to buy Windows 8 even if you like Windows Vista (or was it XP or ME or 98 or 95 or 3.1?) more?
What is all that bloatware in Windows?
What do you mean with "low priority"?
