how do I install antivirus program on netbook and desktop

I have a Acer One Asper, and a Dell PC. I am wondering how to install the antivirus program on each, and if its best to do it first on desktop one or other way around?

You may have to tell folk why you think it matters.

2. How to install antivirus?

This can't be written about here. Why? Because there are over a dozen antivirus companies and not one installs like the next.

If an antivirus company will not help you install their solution, don't buy from them.

Well first you should consider which one you want.

They run independent of each other and won't affect each other. The only issue you could have is that if the Antivirus is only licensed for 1 pc. Usually they come with at least 3.

Also you have to consider how you purchase or obtain the install file. If you purchase from Best Buy or another retail chain it will most likely come with a DVD and you stick it in and usually they are set to autorun. You just answer the questions and proceed.

Now if you purchase or get for free online and download from the internet site most likely it will be an executable file. Alot of time when you download you will be giver the option to run or save as. Run will typically download and execute the install application. If you choose to select you have to go to the folder where you save and click the exe file to run the install.
