Need Help Finding New Audio Socket For Acer 5742Z

Hello, my problem here is that my 3.5mm audio socket died (bending the pins back didn't help). So I soldered out the socket, but it seems that I can't find another one at the Internet to replace this one. Some links to some online shops would be awesome (which ships to East Europe). Adding some pictures;socket has 6 solderable pins.

Did you try ebay and see if you can find a dead laptop board to scrounge it from?

Also, sometimes I skip that and use an USB AUDIO adapter for under 3 bucks since repairs can be hundreds.

Yea, I tried Ebay. But broken motherboard costs 40$ while a simple socket costs around 1$ each. It is and option, but I'd rather save thos 39$ on something else. And with the USB solution, I have also considered tht one, but I'd love my laptop in perfect order and it is an extra thing needed to carry around. So I am trying to find the exact replacement for laptop. But thanks for the reply!

How about the old DEAD BUG trick?

Any seasoned tech would do the DEAD BUG work if push came to shove. Links follow about the under 2 buck thing I use as well as pictures of dead bug work.

USB audio thing for under 2 bucks to my mailbox -> http://www.amazon.com/Virtual-5-1-surround-External-Sound-Card/dp/B000N35A0Y/ref=pd_cp_pc_1 (currently $1.37)

http://www.opencircuits.com/Dead_bug_style is one of most UGLY jobs I've seen to date. But the principle remains the same. You wire in the replacement device with "wires" then glue the part down.

It's an accepted method when you can't get the parts.
