Hi,
I'm fairly sure I have gotten to the bottom of my issue but I'd just like someone with more technical knowledge to agree before I spend more money on more kit.
I have an Acer Aspire All-in-One Z3770. I am watching the v+ box via the HDMI connection but I have no volume control. Volume works perfectly well on everything actually on the unit, such as freeview, music & dvds, etc, via the remote control for the freeview & buttons on the keyboard.
None of the codes for connecting the v+ remote to the unit to control the volume have worked, so we can't use that.
I have suggested the problem is:what ever is being used with the Acer should have its own volume control, such as the Sky box. The v+ box only has internal volume control if it is connected to the screen via scart.
Has anyone come across this problem, if so, have you been able to fix it? Or is my Acer broken and I should be able to control the volume while watching via HDMI?
Many Thanks in advance,
Lyn
