Screen goes extremely dim after 2 seconds in my aspire 6920g

When I started my laptop it gets dimmed in GRUBS(its dual boot windows 7 and kubuntu). Even When I go to bios set up its dimmed. So I guess it's the problem with inverter or baclklight, but how can I find out which one is the source of problem.

Just press (fn) button and your arrow keys < > to turn-up the bright-ness,one little thing it will drain your battery through time so better leaving it just slightly dimmed,all saftey in power saving is my way now as the battery power in Acer are only good for about a year being a heavy user a lot less.

when I say extremely dimmed it means it's barely visible, maybe with the help of a direct light to the screen. I connected it to a TV through vga cable and it works fine, so I guess it's a problem with inverter or backlight. My question is how to find out which one is the cause and now the problem is how to disassemble this machine?
