I am currently a contract customer with T-Mobile. I was using their phone but recently purchased a Galaxy III through Amazon. After using my galaxy for about 3 weeks, I noticed that my data was getting slower, my 3g (NOT 4g) had gone away and had been replaced with an E. Being on Edge service is horrible. I have called T-Mobile 3 times, each putting me through the same paces of what to look for, then I'm told that Tech will check the towers.
On my last call, a technician finally told me that our towers in Winston Salem NC are pushing Edge service, not 3 or 4g. Stating that an upgrade would happen in a few months.
Anyone aware of this issue? I continue to pay for my 3-4g service but I'm stuck out on the Edge.
