Phone up to 300 euro

For the last few weeks, I've been looking for a new phone to replace my old dying one. I've watched and read many reviews, one can't even imagine. I would like to ask you to help me with this ridiculous quest.
I am a tech guy and I like to have everything up to date, but this is not the case. The reason for this is my budget. It is up to 300 euro and I know the retail price of Nexus 4 is just the same, unfortunately in my country, it is more likely around 450 euro.
The key to choose the phone for you is to know for what you will use it, said the wise people. Anyway I will stick to that. I will use my phone mostly for: ringing, browsing, video watching, mail reading, calendar, some 2d games like chess, probably I would like to have some cool apps just to play around and finally the key future should be the camera. I really want to have something in my pocket, which can make decent photos everywhere I go.
As I mentioned I am a tech guy and tech guys usually want latest software updates. I am not greedy, I can wait for a month or two, but I want them better later than never.
The models, I've looked are these:
Samsung Galaxy S2 PLUS I9105 - Price 280 euro
I am not sure, if 8 GB of internal storage is enough for the apps I want to install. Also the GPU is kinda slower than the Original GS2 one.
Samsung Galaxy S2 - Price 280 euro (only white version available)
I am constrained, about the software updates. Also the phone is 2 years old and there is the plus version, which I am not sure if it better or not.
HTC One S - Price 280 euro
Users are experiencing many bugs on this devise. Some of them are really awful like home screen bug, which prevents you from using the phone in areas with lower signal.
I am open for any suggestions!
I guess, that should be enough to determine, which phone will suit best for me.
Your help is much appreciated!
