I guess governments would think communication is so dangerous that it must be monitored and controlled.

there is no doubt, that communication is essential for a change/revolution and that's the reason why governments are trying to controll or even manipulate them.
we just have to look at syria or china.
what i meant, was that a operation system like android is getting more and more ubiquitous (i think it won't take long until our tv's are sold with some kind of android os or our refrigerator...)
i just wanted to hear what do you think about this trend.
It's a known trend.
