Tablet 2.2 and wifi

Please could some one help me, I have a android tablet 2.2 and I am trying to connect to the wifi however it says scanning constantly and but never connects. The network itself says disconnected. I have read that there are some problems with certain router - how do I fix this if this is the problem? These are christmas presents so need them to be sorted asap!

Yes I did encounter a router issue with mine but my bet is you don't have a Netgear 3800 router.

Try this. Go test the tablet at free wifi spots. If they don't connect you have bad tablets.
