Huawei Ideos 7 tab inItial charge?

When I connected new tab to wall socket icons on right side started blinkig and did not charge. My dealer says to do the initial charge using computer usb. Is it true? Thanks

Why didn't you try it? It would take no time at all and if the answer is unacceptable, why didn't you get your money back?

problem is it was a gift. And I did the same thing with the computer usb charging too.It was the same.
