My cell phone is being monitored...can someone help?

Hello all.
My cell phone is being monitored by my x-girlfriend. I know it is not fair, but for some reason i cannot ask her to stop doing that.

She monitors my text messges, my phone calls (which is bearable) , but im very uncomfortable about the voice recorder being tapped and she listening to everything that im talking with my friends,my family and everything!

Is there anything i can do to my cellphone,so that she does'nt listen through my microphone?

So, my question is -> is there anything that i can do to stop my mic from picking up voice from my surrounding? Can i stick something to my mic? Can i put it in an air-tight box? ANYTHING! Please tell me how i can do that, without my X not noticing it. I am going though a very hard time because of this, please someone, help me out sad

....your phone is being monitored like you are saying is if she installed some type of spyware application on your phone. If you are concerned, do a complete system restore of the phone and all installed applications will be removed and your phone will be restored to the factory settings.

BTW: why do you think she is monitoring your phone ?? Did she provide any proof ?
