Even after loading Kies 2.3 in my laptop I am unable to connect to my Samsung Galaxy Y SCH -i509 Android phone. Can anybody help me in this regard?

I continue to see and have encountered this one but there are too many reasons for the failure. Most common? Someone installed Windows but forgot drivers.
