Hi everyone,
I am about to sell my mobile device,Samsung galaxy s gt-i9000 " 2.3.6 Firmware version " so my question is how do i stop recover data on my phone such as phone numbers messages photos videos..etc
because there is some programs recover all data even after format,unfortunately there are some young people curious who retrieve phone numbers or pictures and this is nuisance..
any idea please i will be very grateful !

....which cellular carrier ?? I know that carriers that use SIM cards, once you remove your SIM, your mobile # is no longer associated with the phone/device.

That I'll not duplicate findings with google on this one. However I think you can use ADB to look around and delete the files that held such information. Then to overwrite them you load up apps till the memory is full. Then uninstall those apps.

Just like a HDD, this makes recovery nearly impossible. And if you are worried past that, then you might want to just take the hammer to it?

Again, the restore to factory then the usual you see noted (google that?) seems to be good enough. Only those that are a bit paranoid will want more.

--> This still doesn't answer how to wipe the information the carrier collected on you. Example?
