I need some help....I am confused between LG optimus 2x and Lg Optimus Black.
<div>dual vs single core for what most reviews say that a single core 1 ghz(Black) is more than enough for the needs.
I am currently using LG optimus one, and I love android.I do not want samsung because everybody in my office has a samsung galaxy A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H......and they all look the same.
Also If I go for the Optimus Black, the other option i see is Sony ericsson xperia neoV
the price of LG Black and SE NEO V is almost the same, (the 2x is priced slightly higher)so are the specifications. can u guys help me out
should i step up for the 2x
or should I go stay with single core 1ghzI cannot stretch my budget beyond the 2x.
all phones in India are sold unlocked so there is no carrier related issue.
HTC is out of question because there is no HTC service center in my city(hope for the best, prepare for the worst).
Both sony and LG have confirmed that the phones shall get updated to Android 4.0 and all three phones come with android 2.3 gingerbread
I am not a gamer, what i do is watch youtube, use skype, facebook, read books and surf extensively.

That any app that needs 4.0 may not show up for over a year while we wait for enough folk to get 4.0 machines.
You did not reveal why 4.0 worries you. (It does not worry me.)
I find memory size to be more of a concern than single/dual core.

....from using an HTC device because there is no local service center. Most folks who have to deal with that type of service do it through the cellular carrier's warranty center. I have never lived in a city where there is a service center for my cellular device (apart from my cellular provider) and never had any trouble getting service when I had equipment issues.
