Watching (2D) Video on TV Recorded off Evo 3D

Last night I recorded the entire set of a band I saw live onto my HTC Evo 3D (I recorded it in 2D, NOT 3D--the set was almost 2 hours long, I hear 3D recording can't last that long on the phone) and I'm trying to figure out how to watch the video on my HDTV (it's a regular/2D Insignia) via USB. I've already mounted my phone as a disk drive by checking the options on "Development" under "Applications" and have managed to find my way to viewing pictures through the convoluted menus I'm presented with through the TV, but I can't find any of my recorded videos.

Anyone have any suggestions/solutions?

I have yet to see that work. The hurdles are so many that I would not give any hope but would copy the video file out then convert it with HANDBRAKE to what my TV can play and then place it on some USB stick.
