no gingerbread yet

hi all,i have the Samsung galaxy s on the 3 network and still no sign of Gingerbread for 3,i would love the update when it comes but am worried about possible problems after,i will take it to a Samsung centre for the upgrade,does anyone think that may mean less problems?

What's the rush? I can't see any reason to rush this.

As to your last question, problems seem to not be avoided but if the service center botches the job they are on the hook to fix it.

I have not seen much in the direction of the galaxy s GB upgrade, I'm sure you will see it when it is ready. I know the Fascinate just had a GB leak pushed today, it is not the OTA however.

I agree with Proffitt, however if they push an OTA GB update you should have no problems upgrading on your own.
