will I get a better picture using HDMI or RCA plug-ins on HD

I have a 50" plasma & a 42" plasma. I receive a better picture on the 42" using RCA plug-ins than I do on the 50" using HDMI cable,both HDTV's are panasonic and are on AT&T. Is this possible.

The TV's are 50"1080p and the 42" is 1080i

You didn't tell.

Composite is handily beat by HDMI but can be equal if the video source is say below 480p.

Should be equal but Component has a nice edge in one thing

Component does not have DHCP so you will not experience any DHCP HANDSHAKE troubles. Please google that if you want to learn more.

HDMI looks to have the edge for distance. I won't write all about it but there is some timing technology Intel used in HDMI to let it work well over long cables. Component is analog so you know that issue.
