Recording from Sony VHS to Panasonic DVD recorder DMR-EZ28EB

Hi there,
Is it possible to record from my Sony VHS player which has a SCART output only to my Panasonic DVD recorder model DMR-EZ28EB which is equiped with S-video connector and also Video and L & R audio channel connectors.
First of all is this possible? then what do I need to do to achieve it please. The handbook is not very specfic on this topic.

I'm guessing you already own the adapters to connect it all but there is that one issue which I must preface we can never discuss how to get around it here. It's that issue of copy protected VHS tapes. Those should not copy.
