Apple's acquisition of Anobit, what does it mean for them?

Apple recently acquired Anobit, which will practically allow them to create flash memory in house as well as upgrade their products.

I've been reading around the net about this, and found a pretty good article on the breakdown of this acquisition as well as the ramification it has on Apple's competitors.
