is hitman pro and ccleaner worth the price

I have been using ccleaner and hitman pro but my time as run out and I haven't registered with them. However, I am now having problems with getting kicked out of my email. My understanding is that this may be do to my system being compromised by malware. So, now I guess I should be purchasing something to clear the malware or can I download another program that is free. Would zonealarm work?

I did do what was advised however I am still unsure if I removed the malware. I have run scans that say I have a lot of registry errors my understanding from a previous answer I got that these don't necassarily hurt your computer. I am able to use the internet its getting kicked out of my email that is the problem. Constently reseting my password. Soo I feel i probably haven't removed all malware. I have tried different cleaners and am afraid i may be making things worse. So how do i really determine if the malware is removed. Would the best way to deal with this be to purchase hitman or a norton security

Something is not the same here. Not one of the scans I used from Grif's advice gave me a registry scan error issue.

I can only guess you are using some registry cleaner and experiencing the same carp that others are experiencing.

thanks for your response but my trial period for both of these is over. Are they both suppose to be free without registering. Do they only detect malware or do they clean it.

What they know about. In one case you must pay for the apps to repair (which is not the same as clean!) damage.

I'm pretty sure I had a virus because my computer was super slow. Unfortunately nothing would detect the virus, so I re-installed windows using the clean install method. It is a pain backing up the files, but; it worked well for me; my computer was as fast as when it was new. I tried at least 4 different anti-viruses that didn't fix the problem. Google clean re-install windows. It's a last resort, but it works.
