Apple TV won't connect to wireless network

Hi,

It seems my Apple TV is unable to connect to my wireless network even though my wireless access point is practically standing right next to it. Here are my specs:

Wireless access point: D-Link DWL-G700AP (with WPA 2 secured password)
Ethernet Switch: D-Link DES-1005D (don't know if this has anything to do with it)

Apple TV itself is 2nd generation I think. Any ideas?

More information:
Apple tv model number is A1427 so it's 3rd generation.

OK thanks, I turned the security off and it connected right away but I obviously can't keep my connection unsecured so how do I turn it back on and still be able to connect?

work your way back up to WPA2

You could also try changing out the password for the WPA 2

P

I just changed the password and now it works, maybe something I did wrong, very odd...
Anyway got it working now thanks a lot!
