Sony vaio power adaptor not charging continuously

I have a sony vaio laptop vpceg2aen which came with a power adapter VGP-AC19V33.
Since yesterday the adapter is not charging the laptop properly. The led on the adapter is working when connected to the power source, but the laptop is not charging continuously. The battery icon in the system tray is showing that the power is getting connected and disconnected every 1 sec.
I don't know how to explain this. Even though the laptop is showing as charging for the 1st second, but the very next second it is showing as not charging, and this behavior continues.

It's just a bit of work for the usual technician and a small industry has been created. Google Laptop Jack Repair to see what I mean.

This does not mean this is your issue but it is a high probability it is.

its problem with the CPU or may be processor due to which this problem is showing .

Try to charge it with another adopter, if the problem is still there it means your adopter is absolutely fine and you are having problem in your system, otherwise your adopter is having the problem.

off and on power issues it's a short. Which means your not getting a continuous electrical flow. If that is the problem it could even be the jack or a wire in the adapter.
