Toshiba Portege R835 keyboard problem

Okay so I got this laptop last May and recently have noticed a lot of problems with the keyboard. Especially, I have to press the "A" and "Space" button really hard in order for them to work! Is there any way I can fix this problem by myself?

At the top we have the Toshiba Disassemble posts and some EXCELLENT BONUS MATERIAL from the author of a laptop repair book (for free, and again thank you!)

My son's laptop had me use this information to replace the keyboard. It took about 15 minutes since I used the canned air to clean areas that were now accessible when I installed the new keyboard. Can be a lot cheaper than a shop charge.
