I have an compaq evo n610c

it works well for what I need but there is no way to hook it up to my DSL (no ethernet port only a phone line port).

Is there a way to fix this?

There certainly are wireless devices that go into a USB or PC card slot. No problem with that. But finding one that comes with drivers for Windows 2000 might be impossible.

So maybe it's time to come the conclusion that it doesn't work so well anymore for what you need.
