USB ports

I have a DELL Inspiron 9200 Laptop.It has 6 USB ports and all of them are not working. What can be done?

We also check the BIOS to see if the USB ports are enabled.

You supplied the make and model but no OS, no story so we'll start with answers that might fit.

Dell Inspiron 1150 USB ports not functional

I have a similar problem, my USB ports stopped working. I've run diagnostics, etc. and the hardware seems to be ok. I believe the registry is messed up. Any recommendations on how to check the BIOS to see they are enabled, and secondly is there a utility to run to correct the registry if that is the problem? Any help appreciated.

Try the chipset drivers.

check the drivers or hub power

check the drivers , if you use a usb hub, maybe you need power for the hub else it can't work.
