netbook a good option for me?

Hi all, I don't do anything fancy on a computer, but surf the internet, quicken, a little excel/word and pictures. That's it. I know nothing about computers, so please keep it simple.

Any recommendations on a netbook? I want one to save money over buying a new laptop. I'm not too picky.

My netbook arrives. I will try Office 2003 for sure. I have Quicken Premier 2008 but I see no reason it won't work.

The model is the Acer w/160GB hard disk, etc. The model you see at Walmart is identical with 120GB drive.

It will not be my primary PC.

While the thing had many megabytes of Windows udpates to fetch it is a very nice machine. I put a Logitech V450 Nano mouse on it to speed things along.

Very nice machine for not much.

Acer aspire one

I have the Acer from Walmart with Office 2003 loaded on it and it works great, actually works better than my full size Toshiba laptop. My daughter likes it so well I have purchased one for her and her family for Christmas.
