Laptop for gaming

Prolly gonna be a bit of a long question so bare with me.
Im looking to get a gaming laptop for when i go out, what sort of gaming laptops would people suggest as top of the range that can handle the hefty spec eaters that most games seem to be noewdays. It doesnt have to be massively expensive id rather no what people have used and think is a good one to get.

Also ive heard that the hardware inside laptops "ware" out quickly compared to desktop computers and so dont have a very long life span. Is this true?? because i dont want to pay tons of cash for a two year laptop.

and also just genrally if people think its worth it to happy

and is in a smaller space so it doesn't get cooled quite as effectively has a shorter life span.

And if it's a 'real' gaming laptop you need, i.e. one that can handle current games reasonably well, you will be buying at the very top end of laptop prices. Think ~$4K upwards.

They can be cheaper if you get the right parts
3000 or less an it will play most games at a desktop rate
