Laptop freezes when moved

Hi
I have a Laptop Toshiba Satellite M70 SR6, with Intel Pentium 1.86GHz with 2 GB of RAM, 100 MB of Hard drive, with Windows XP SP2 Professional installed. Everything works fine.
Since maybe 2 to 3 months ago I started noticing that most of the times I move the computer without extreme care, being the computer on, it just freezes (no mouse movement, no key input accepted). I have to switch it off lon pressing the power button to re-start, which I believe is not that helpful!
A couple of months ago, while still under warranty it required replacement of motherboard and graphics card. After that job it was OK. But some time after that (sorry I can't precise) it started behaving this funny way.
I believe this must be an hardware problem, maybe a loose hardware connection, but I am not sure. Recently I have upgraded its RAM memory from 1GB to 2 GB but this had no influence on the behavior.
Does anybody has an idea about how I could fix it? I was trying to avoid to take it for repair because usually it takes ages to get it ready and I need the computer on a daily basis for my job!

If this hits the repair center they would take it apart and check all the connectors, if the cpu can be pulled they would do that, hit the socket with a cleaning spray and put it all back together. Since you doing this would void any warranty and would remove your rights to a free repair my advice is to get it back to them NOW.

a loose hard drive connection, or a bad one. b/c when the drive can't get data, your computer crashes. Back up essential data, reseat drive. If that doesn't work, try a new drive.

solution found for the freezing screen problem!

I finally, accidentally, found what the problem was! I got another, more serious problem - computer would power off during the booting process, every time! I've unplugged it and the battery would not power up the computer. I removed the battery and ... voila ... both problems fixed - the power off and the moving freezing problem! It took me months to figure this out but this may be of some help to anyone who will experience this or a similar problem! If it seems a hardware problem, try to disconnect the battery! It's an easy diagnostic test and if it solves the problem, it is also easy to replace! I had actually changed the hard drive without success in resolving the problem!
