Lot of badmouthing on the net, but not much evidence....

The main complaint on the net is from one guy who is posting everywhere complaining he was quoted a price, and the company deducted $20 because his battery was bad. Well, duh - the company says if a part is not as described, they can alter the quote to reflect this. I'm not saying the seller misrepresented anything - he thought the battery was good, probably, but the company tested it and it didn't work. But none of his forum postings that I've seen say anything about whether or not the battery worked before he sold the computer, and he DID receive the amounted quote, just less the bad part as indicated in the terms and conditions.
The company is not a BBB member, but according to the BBB has resolved most complaints. The two left unresolved are 1) an advertising issue (not specified) and 2) a customer refund or exchange issue. PLEASE NOTE: The one unresolved refund/exchange issue notes only: "Company failed to resolve the complaint issues through the BBB voluntary and self-regulatory process." That does not mean the complaint was unresolved, only that it was not done via the BBB.
Considering the company has been in business since 2001, this is not outrageous. There were more customers who failed to complete their obligation to acknowledge acceptance to the BBB, not doubt some like the "bad battery" whiner, who simply didn't bother to read his quote very carefully.
But for everyone as a result, based on no real knowledge, and no experience with the company, to start saying, "I wouldn't trust them" verges on libel. After all, there are lots of forums posts from people who had a GOOD experience.
C'mon folks, do some research before you post an opinion!!!!
