Laptop Power Problem

The power jack on the back of my laptop is loose where it connects between the power cord and the port. I have already opened up my laptop but was unable to secure any screws to tighten the jack. Any suggestions?

I have a Gateway Solo 1400 XL

Patience. Any competent tech should not only be able to resolder the connector if it's that but given time to order parts can replace it.

Hello I have the same prob. with my power cord. It doesn't seem loose but I do have to arrange and rearrange the cord so it works/charges. What was it you tried first? (I have already opened up my laptop but was unable to secure any screws) Can you explain a bit more about that? Thank you!
