how to burn dvd on compaq notebook

I have a compaq presario notebook v2312us and the manuel does not state instructions on copying or burning. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Look up CDBURNERXP. It's not obvious how to copy YOUR DVD. But it's simple. Create the .ISO from CDBURNERXP, then write that from CDBURNERXP.

You were not specific about what YOUR DVD is, but I am only going to share how to duplicate YOUR DVD and not commercial copy protected DVDs.

Retail DVD burning software

You should have a simple DVD burning utility on your notebook standard if you have a DVD burner or only a CD burning utility if you have a CDRW/DVD ROM only.

At any rate, if you go out to Compusa or Fry's electronics etc and get a quality software program that would be the best bet for heavy DVD burning.
